As the youngest member of the South African Glaucoma Society committee, he has led the way in innovation. His achievements include founding LIQID MEDICAL Pty, a multi-award-winning ophthalmic biotechnology company, and inventing four patented devices. Dr McClunan’s dedication extends to humanitarian efforts, such as leading rural eye screenings across Southern Africa. Dr McClunan specialises in laser refractive surgery, advanced cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. His expertise is internationally recognised and Dr McClunan is an active member of the European and American Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
