Unveiling the real value behind our laser eye surgery prices
Tailored to your needs, our exceptional personalised service ensures optimal results and long-term vision satisfaction—all at a price you can afford
When considering laser eye surgery, the cost is a significant factor for many people. It’s important to understand why laser eye surgery carries its price tag and what you’re investing in.
At its core, the cost reflects the combination of advanced technology, expert skills, and personalised care. Laser eye surgery utilises advanced equipment to reshape the cornea accurately, addressing vision imperfections. This technology is not only expensive to acquire but requires regular updates and maintenance to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
The expertise of our ophthalmologists is another critical component. Each has undergone years of specialised training, not just in ophthalmology but specifically in the precision-driven field of laser eye surgery. Their expertise is crucial, not only in performing the surgery but in conducting comprehensive pre-surgery assessments to customise the treatment to each patient’s unique needs. This level of customisation and care is what sets apart a successful outcome from a standard procedure.
Our practice also prides itself on a patient-centered approach. From the initial consultation through to post-operative care, we provide support and guidance. This level of service ensures that your experience is as comfortable and reassuring as possible, contributing to the overall cost.
Lastly, the cost primarily covers the surgery as well as one year of complimentary follow up visits as well as touch ups if needed. This pricing structure ensures that patients receive focused and essential care designed to provide you with the care you need throughout your procedure and during the year that follows – with no unexpected additional costs along the way.
Understanding these factors helps contextualise the cost of laser eye surgery, highlighting the value of investing in your vision with a trusted, skilled, and caring practice.

These are individual patient accounts. Circumstances, outcomes and experiences vary from person to person and do not represent a guarantee of results. Please speak to one of our ophthalmologists about what you may realistically expect for your eyes.

Hi, I’m Daemon McClunan
I’m proud to be the founder of both Atlantic Eye Centre, an eye specialist centre, and LIQID Medical Pty, a biotech company. My passion for research and innovation has led me to create four patented devices, and receive awards during my specialist training.
With a medical degree from Stellenbosch University, a specialist degree from the University of Cape Town, and experience working in Laser Eye Surgery centres in Canada, Germany, India and London, I’m dedicated to providing dedicated, patient-centred care.
Beyond the clinic, I’ve embarked on humanitarian missions, travelling over 15,000km by motorbike to provide rural eye screenings. In my downtime, I love mountain biking, diving, and spending quality time with my family.
My goal is for every patient to feel genuinely informed, comfortable, and well cared for – from their first conversation right through to their last post-operative visit.
